About Tonya Evans
Tonya Evans serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the American Fallen Warrior Memorial Foundation in Lawrence, Kansas. This nonprofit organization, founded in 2011, is dedicated to honoring American veterans by building the largest memorial of its type in the country. The foundation plans to build a new, eco-friendly monument based upon the original design of Norman Schwartz. As head of the organization, Tonya Evans has been responsible for such initiatives as the “www.MyThankYouCoins.com” campaign, which was developed to facilitate the public’s involvement in establishing the memorial.
With over two decades in the sales and marketing industry, Tonya Evans Mundy is equipped to communicate the foundation’s mission to the public. Her organization intends to build an outreach center that will be adjacent to the memorial. This center will house a library for visitors.
In addition to fulfilling her responsibilities concerning the Fallen Warrior Memorial, Tonya Evans heads an award-winning photography business, Impressions Photography. This company, which counts celebrities among its clientele, provides Hollywood-quality make-up services to its clients before their photo shoots. Another of Tonya Evans Mundy's projects is AmericanHeroHugs.com. This company crafts pillows, nightlights, and teddy bears for the children of deployed United States military personnel. Each item is laser-printed with the image of the child’s loved one.
Tonya Evans is the mother of three children. In her free moments, she volunteers at her church. She also contributes her time to several community organizations.
